Sothy's Pepper Farm is an organic family-run farm specializing in the production of world-renowned Kampot pepper, located about 17km northeast of central Kep in Cambodia's smallest province. The farm produces all four varieties of certified Kampot pepper - green, black, red, and white - without the use of chemical fertilizers or insecticides, utilizing solar and wind energy for their operations.
Visitors can enjoy free guided tours in multiple languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Khmer, where they learn about the cultivation, harvesting, and processing methods that make Kampot pepper so distinctive. The tour begins with a tasting session featuring all pepper varieties, from the juicy and flavorful preserved green pepper to the traditional black, white, and red varieties. The farm is part of the official Kampot pepper geographic area, which holds Protected Geographical Indication status - the first officially protected geographic appellation for any Cambodian product.

1 Review on “Sothy's Pepper Farm”
Beautiful place. The owner has taken over the land and practices sustainable agriculture with lots of different fruit trees, and of course, pepper as the main crop. It's great for families; you can book a reservation, and the owner will give you a tour and explain everything. You can also have lunch on-site if you reserve in advance.
